Adult Detention and Records

Use the correct office for the type and age of the information requested. The Sheriff's Office, the Adult Detention Center, the Criminal History Unit, and the court each handle a different part of a Ramsey County case.

Ramsey County Sheriff's Office:
425 Grove Street
Saint Paul, MN 55101
Main phone: 651-266-9333
Adult Detention Center: 651-266-9350
Criminal History Unit: 651-266-9585, CriminalHistory@co.ramsey.mn.us
Photo-request hours: weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holidays.

For an adult who may be in custody, begin with the official ADC roster. A photo request belongs with the Criminal History Unit. A written county data request can address records that no longer appear in the roster's brief post-release window. For a criminal case result, Ramsey District Court Records is at 15 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul, MN 55102; Records Office 651-266-8237; criminal and traffic information 651-266-1999.
